Prices

Here at The Little Patch we aim to make your perfect mei tai simple and affordable and are priced at £70 plus postage regardless of which size, colour or pattern you choose. The cost takes into account the time taken to design your carrier, wash, prepare and cut the fabric before sewing, packaging and sending you your perfect mei tai.
All of our mei tais consist of a main body of coloured or black cotton twill and a patterned panel on one side. The main body comes in two sizes 14  or 16 inches wide by 20 inches high. As your little one grows you will be able to use the shoulder straps to continue giving knee to knee support. The shoulder straps are wide wrap style straps which are pleated at the point they join the carrier. Our shoulder straps measure roughly 8 inches wide and 70 inches long each (depending on shrinkage of the fabric when it is pre-washed) and the waist straps measure roughly 70  inches from the end of one to the end of the other. They are available in the following colours:

Unfortunately at this time we are unable to add hoods, bows or make reversible carriers with more than one patterned panel, however other colours and patterned twill may be available at an additional cost. Please contact us for a custom quote.

  1. I would love to order one for my daughter, 20 months old. Her dad loves spider-man and marvel characters and Charlotte has a toy incredible hulk that belonged to my husband when he was a child. We currently use a buckle carrier but I have tried a meeting tei and did find it comfortable. I saw you’re marvel pattern on Facebook this evening and loved it!!
